Three years after the official world premiere of the DATRON neo at the AMB in Stuttgart, the 400th DATRON neo in May left the production of the South Hessian machine manufacturer. In order to further increase the performance of that rock star among the compact milling machines, the DATRON neo was further enhanced and promises even higher productivity and process reliability in Series 2.
Thanks to a new more powerful computer, the DATRON neo convinces with increased performance rates, which can further accelerate workflows in the future. The proven XYZ sensor TP-R ensures higher process reliability and a measuring accuracy of +/- 0.01 mm. In combination with the DATRON next camera feature, the workpiece‘s zero point can be easily, reliably and precisely set. In addition, the Series 2 is equipped with a new cooling unit, that allows much easier filling and monitoring of the coolant flow. The optional monitoring of the applied vacuum setting and the filling status of the coolant tank provides an additional level of process reliability.
DATRON neo makes it (all) easy
In addition to the new technical highlights, the proven features of the DATRON neo remain unchanged. The compact high-speed milling machine offers an uncomplicated and safe set-up of workpieces due to the ergonomic and frontal access to the working area. The machine is suitable for small series, design models as well as for prototyping applications.
The 3-axis milling machine turns ideas into real projects. Prototypes made of composite materials, plastics or wood are created quickly and with consistent quality. The innovative compact milling machine relieves the standard machine park in the production of small series components. Whether highly dynamic milling from the solid or detailed implementation of complex surface geometries, the DATRON neo convinces with its versatility and flexibility.
